Hi,
So I'm importing in a school data sheet into Power BI from excel. My student id is a 14 digit number (i.e 12500300981613) and a unique id.
When I import it into Power BI, it automatically transfers into 12500300981000. In the Query Editor it is:
1.25003E+13 |
I've tried all ways to make sure the number stays the same...This is happening only one file...the rest are ok.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,
So that seems to work, but it is a saved as a number on ther other tables, so the join is not working.
Would I have to change all of them to text to make it work? Or is there a work around...
Thanks.
If it is saved as number on other tables, you can duplicate the column and set that duplicated column to text. It is like 2 same columns but 2 different data types.
Thank you, that seemed to work.
Kind Regards.
