Number Formatting not correct on any imported visual from App Source
I am having an issue with any imported visual from the App Source store not showing the correct format string. If I use the measure in any of the default visual, the numbers show up correctly.
If I use the same measure in any imported visual from App Source, the number format doesn't work.
If I click on the visual and say view as table, the formatting shows up correctly in the table, but still not the visual.
Since the numbers are formatted correctly in the default visuals, I'm assuming it isn't an issue with the data, my measure or the format settings.
Would anyone happen to know why none of the app source visuals are using the number formatting?
Hi mbg032373 ,
As tested here,it works fine using "Tornado":
Would you pls check whether you have updated your desktop version to the latest one?
I'm using Version: 2.96.701.0 64-bit (August 2021).
You could refer to my .pbix file attached if needed.

mbg032373 Because the third-party didn't do a good job? Maybe try the custom display formatting like here: Chelsie Eiden's Duration - Microsoft Power BI Community

Greg_Deckler It is every single visual I try from App Source though.

mbg032373 Nope, I just tried Tornado Chart 2.1.0 by Microsoft and it respected my Currency format for my numeric field. So, not every visual, just the ones you want to use apparently! 🙂
