Notification emails from THIS FORUM are treated as SPAM by Microsoft spam filters and quarantined

If anyone at Microsoft is listening, Please get in touch with the people that handle Quarantine@messaging.microsoft.com. I submit questions, answers, and comments on these forums and when I get notified of activity from a post to which I am subscribed, it comes from sender: mailer@us.khoros-mail.com . Microsoft's own quarantine system flags this and puts it in quarantine. We have contacted them over several months ago to have this sender flagged as NOT quarantine, but it's like firing arrows blindly over the castle walls. Can't seem to get any attention. If anyone, Micorosft employee or otherwise, knows how to fix this, I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance.

My boss claims that he request he went to some Microsoft site that governs "quarantine@messaging.microsoft.com and submitted a request to have the sending email address removed from the unsafe senders list, basically to white list it. From what I understand, NOBODY but Microsoft can control these settings as it is a service we subscribe to.

In other words, there is nothing I can do in my personal Outlook setup, or even our own Exchange setup that can allevieate this.

Just curious if anyone else who utilizes Microsoft email quarantine services is seeing the same thing, in that MICROSOFT is flagging email FROM mailer@us.khoros-mail.com for quarantine.

Hi @ToddChitt

These docs should be helpful:

Prevent good email from being identified as spam - Office 365 | Microsoft Docs

Find and release quarantined messages as a user - Office 365 | Microsoft Docs

Manage quarantined messages and files as an admin - Office 365 | Microsoft Docs

You can also follow steps in this doc to add this sender to Safe senders list: Mail goes to the Junk folder by mistake (microsoft.com)

To mark an email message as Not junk in Outlook.com

  1. Open your Junk Email folder and select the messages you want to keep.

  2. From the top toolbar, select Not junk > Not junk (or Not spam > Not spam). You can also open the message and select the It's not junk link at the top.

  3. If you've blocked someone by mistake, open your Blocked senders list and select the rubbish bin icon next to their name.

  4. Add the sender to your Safe senders list.

To stop email from going to your Outlook.com Deleted Items by mistake

Messages in your Junk folder are automatically deleted between 10 and 30 days after they arrive.

  1. Check that the sender is not in your Blocked senders list. If they are, select the rubbish bin icon next to their name and add the sender to your Safe senders list instead.

  2. Check that you don't have an Inbox Rule running for the sender or a keyword in the deleted email.
