Not able to sort

Hello,

I'm trying to sort my columns by month and following instructions from another post, one of the steps is to go to Modeling and use the "Sort by column" function, but this is grey'd out for me. Not sure why that is? any thoughts?

I have both the month name and month number in seperate columns. I want to use the Month Name in my view, but sort by the month number.

Thanks in advance!

Make sure, you have selected the column which needs to be sorted like month name. In your snapshot, it seems you have selected some visualization as well as its showing "Format" and "Drill" tabs as well.

When you select a column only, it should only show Home and Modeling tab. Smiley Happy

Thank you for your help.

I knew it would be something simple! The sorting function is not that intuitive!! Thank you very much, that helped a lot.
