Not able to open PowerBI Desktop Files and Getting File Sensitivity error from Today morning IST
- 1 year ago
Hi hemasaiv - This typically occurs when there is an issue with the sensitivity label applied to the file, which may be related to your organization's compliance or security policies.
- Ensure you have proper permissions to access files with the applied sensitivity label.
- If the label requires specific access rights, coordinate with your IT or Compliance team to validate permissions.
1.Navigate to the cache folder (e.g., C:\Users\<your_username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Power BI Desktop\Cache).
2.Delete the cache files and restart Power BI Desktop3.Sign out of your Power BI Desktop and Microsoft account.
4.Sign back in to refresh your session and ensure authentication with your organization's label policies3Share the screenshot and error details with your IT team. The issue might require a global fix on the sensitivity label's verification system.
