Not able to login to my Power BI account using the Power BI Desktop app

Hi,

Since last week, I'm not able to connect the Power BI Desktop App to my Power BI service account.

When I insert my email into the connect dialogue box, the app doesn't recognize it and redirect me to use other accounts and the one I need is not listed.

I also tried to select "Use another account", but I go a message indicating that there is no account associated with that email. 

 

For information,

  • The account email is not a Microsoft on, it is a personnal email.
  • The Power BI licence associated to the account is a free one.
  • I still can access the account from the Power BI Service.

@NGuita , change this setting and try again

 

Go to File-> Options and settings -> Options -> Security Option -> and check : Use My Default browser( Visible after scroll)

if needed, clear the cache of the default browser
