Hi
I am not able to import VSTS Work item Tree Queries/Direct links queries in Power BI Desktop. It is giving error as below
Work Item Links
Expresiion.Error: The field 'workitemrelations' of the record wasn't found
Is this the limitation? Do we have any alternate way to do this?
Thanks
Sriram
Hi Sriram,
The VSTS connector is still on preview. I think there are more improvements needed.
Maybe there is a workaround. Could you please use App source "Visual studio team services" in Power BI Service instead? It works as I tested.
Could you please post a snapshot of the error message? Maybe I can do more.
Best Regards!
Dale
Hi Dale,
Thanks for your response. I am using Power BI extension available in VSTS market place which will help me to download .pbix file for VSTS work item queries. I am trying to open that .pbix file using Power BI desktop. It is working fine for Flat queries. But for Tree queries it is giving below error when I open the .pbix file
Please let me know how we can fix this issue. And Let me know how we can create the reports like below for VSTS workitems in Power BI service.
Thanks
Sriram

Is this the limitation for VSTS? Do we have any other options to open Tree queries in Power BI desk top or Service?
Thanks
