Hi kolturra ,
Here are the checklist and some solutions I can provide:
- Whether you can use the same account to sign in power bi service
- Whether your local connection status is fine
- Files -> Options and settings -> Options -> Diagnostics -> Enable tracing, then follow the steps that reproduce the error. When that occurs, Power BI Desktop adds events to the tracing log, which is kept on the local computer. There may be many trace files in that folder. Often this is found on the local computer in the following location: C:\Users/<user name>/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Power BI Desktop/Traces Make sure you only send the recent files to your administrator to facilitate quickly identifying the error.
- Try to reinstall or download the latest version of power bi desktop(https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=58494)

With the same user and password try to login to power Bi service. If you are able to log in there, you should be able to login to desktop. If your login is working, it just a connection issue
