No visualization shows data, but tables do show them

Hello:

After copying a pbix file to query from an identical SQL database, all the existing visuals became blank. No data shown. But all data is perfectly visible in tables view and also in the query editor.

Extract of report page in desktop editor not showing data:

Extract of tables view, showing data OK:

Extract of query editor, also showing data OK:

The database structure, relationships and visuals are exactly the same between both versions (only the database name differs), so the visuals should show data perfectly fine. In fact, the data is being pulled correctly to the PowerBI tables.

I have successfully done this procedure many times before.

¿Any ideas what might be happening? Thank you.

Hi @superjam

Hope you are doing well.

Does the problem still exist? Have you found the reason now?

Hi @v-xiaotang

Thank you for your interest.

No, I did not find the origin of the problem and unfortunately had to start all over again.

Strange things require drastic solutions, I think.

Hi @superjam

What fields are placed in the visual? Could you show a screenshot of all the information?

I guess it is because of the filter, maybe you can recreate a file and use a simple visual to show the data.

Thank you. No filters are applied. I thought the same thing at first, but there are no filters whatsoever.

Regards.

Hi @superjam

if so, could you share a sample file? you can remove your raw data and replace it with bogus data (import mode)? so that we can test it to find the reason.

I'd guess that you have some sort of filter on your report page that is filtering out all of the data rows.

Thanks, I thought the same.

But the page has no filter. Not even the slicers pull any data. This problem repeats on every page of this file.

So strange!
