No save-as on-prem option?

M engine integration is not enabled - Microsoft Power BI Community

Ok, following the problem i'm having from the link above, i have re-installed power BI desktop, however now i have lost the option to save reports to out SSRS server.

When i click save as it just opens the save as dialog box.

I have installed an earlier version and i can see the option to save to our on-prem server. Unfortunatley the reports are now saved in a later version.

Very frustrating.

Hi  @Scottyuk ,

Make sure the Power BI Desktop version you're using (client app for report creation) matches or is "less than" the version you have installed on the actual report server

You can try to create a report from power Bi services (power Bi desktop) and upload the pbix file to the power Bi report server through the upload option after saving the pbix file locally.

Your suggestion is probably the solution, however it has worked when the server version is older than the desktop version.

Strange thing is, it is now suddenly working again, i havn't made any changes either.
