No. of data refresh using power automate button

Hi Everyone, I have created a power BI report in which I have added a button created using power automate which refresh the dataset when clicked, I wanted to know is there any limit on number of refresh we can trigger using that button as we have in license type. And if yes then is the license limit and button limit is combined or separate, for example in pro licence we can schedule 8 refresh, so we can have separate 8 schedule refresh and 8 refresh from button or combinely we can have 8 refresh.

In Power BI, the number of dataset refreshes is tied to the type of license you have, and this applies to both scheduled refreshes and refreshes triggered by buttons like the one you've created using Power Automate.

License-based Refresh Limits:

  1. Power BI Pro License:

    • You can schedule up to 8 refreshes per day.
    • Any additional manual refreshes (e.g., using buttons) do count toward this limit. So, the 8-refresh limit is combined between scheduled and manually triggered refreshes.
  2. Power BI Premium Per User (PPU) License:

    • You can schedule up to 48 refreshes per day.
    • As with the Pro license, both scheduled and manual refreshes share this limit.
  3. Power BI Premium Capacity:

    • The refresh limit can be higher and depends on the capacity settings. However, you still need to keep track of both scheduled and manual refreshes together.

Hello @anmolmalviya05 ,

the data refreshes that will be triggered using power automate are the same as the number of sechedule refreshes you have based on your license.

and they are both one, so if you consumed 4 refreshes using power automate then you still have 4 refreshes this day based on the pro license.
