No images when exporting to PDF

Hi guys, i have a stock report that has images from an image URL for each item.

I used a grid from MAQ because the standard grid wasnt showing images. they on our server.

Users need to export to PDF and print for their stock take.

when we do, the images are lost.

is this an issue  with the PDF driver?

is there a workaround, maybe image streaming or powerautomate to generate the PDF?

thanks a mil

ian

Is the Power BI service renderer able to access your images?  Is a gateway necessary?

As a workaround (and only if the images are not too big) you can include the images in Base64 encoding in your datasource and then reconstruct them in your visuals via DAX.  There are lots of articles around detailing that approach.
