When I edit interactions for visuals, I can see that bar charts have a cross-highlight option, but it's missing from line and scatter charts. I can only cross-filter there. Is there a way for me to highlight data points in a scatter chart without power bi zooming in and removing all other data? Is there a reason why this is not available?
Hi @tnad ,
Hi @tnad ,
The following article tells how to highlighting scatter charts in Power BI using DAX,you could have a look:
Highlighting Scatter Charts in Power BI using DAX
Best Regards
Lucien
@Greg_Deckler Thanks. I only found one custom scatter plot (by xviz) that allows highlighting. Unfortunately, it's not free. Hard to convince our users to move away from spotfire, when they need this feature to look at data.
@tnad What about the Enhanced Scatter Plot custom visual from Microsoft?
@Greg_Deckler Enhanced Scatter only shows a filter option when you edit interactions. I tried about 5 custom scatter charts. Only the one by xviz has the highlight option.
@tnad Not to my knowledge, might try custom visuals.
