Hi @Anonymous ,

Please try to install the latest version of .net framework and try again. In fact, windows 2008 r2 is out of support now. It's better you can upgrade the system. @Anonymous , Please uninstall, clear the windows temp folder and install it again.

If it does not work, Log and issue https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues
