Hi everyone,
Appreciate your advice for the dashbaord I'm trying to build for presales targets so its each preseller target against the revnue report.
For context each preseller is assigned specific segments and products to cover, I have sorted out the segments by having a master segment file with unique values which I have connected to both presales targets and the revenue report and also a product master file with each product also connected to both reports.
I am creating a table visual to see if the numbers align correctly and they don't it's showing the entire target for the preseller for the specific product but across all segments even though I'm filtering by the segment master file and the same with the revenue report.
Any advice is appreciated as I am newly learning how to build and use power bi desktop.
Hi @YassmineE_ ,
It looks like the segment filter isn’t reaching your target and revenue tables, which is why you’re still seeing the full target across all segments even after selecting one. This usually happens when the relationships between the segment master table and the fact tables are not properly aligned. Please verify that the segment master has active, single-direction relationships with both the targets and revenue tables, ensure the key columns match in data type and don’t contain duplicates, and check for any inactive or many-to-many relationships that might prevent filters from passing through. Also review your measures to confirm nothing is overriding the filter context. In most cases, correcting these relationship settings allows the visual to reflect the correct values for the selected segment.
