New to This Tool - How to upload multiple data files for comparisons

Hi everyone,

I am new this this tool and I simply want to know how to upload multiple files for different entities and periods to consolidate and compare period to period and entity to entity. Can anyone direct me to the most appropriate training sessions for this.

Thank you both for these and the former link may well work, but like I say I am a complete beginner to this app therefore I need to know directions on how to find the Power Query editor, is this in excel, the Power BI app, the Power BI desktop, or somewhere else.

Your specific question is a bit vague, but if you can give more details I'm sure me or someone else will be able to tell you how to connect to your data. What is the data source?

In terms of Tutorials, the Microsoft Learn site is much improved so I'd start there, something like

Ultimately, all I am attempting to do is pull qtrly data from balance sheets from 2 sister companies to consolidate and compare the data. Then to add the following qtr updated balance sheets, again to consolidate and compare to see what changes occured between the 1 qtrs.

All of the tutorials assume you have knowledge of this application, I do not therefore need assistance on every step until I get the basic knowledge. 

Any suggestions?
