New quick measure failed - What date format is valid?

I tried date from DimDate and date from SalarySheet. Why this error occur? How to fix?

    hi Anonymous 

    It seems your Date field has not Date type. check it in Power QUery Editor mode or give us example of your data

        Referring to this post, try to transform the date from a text to a date value using the UK format:

        Time intelligence does not work
