New filter pane

Hi,

I see the August desktop update has hit - there's a "new filter pane" nag screen that's popping up every single time I open up any report, regardless of how many times I uncheck the switch to it box - the box is unchecked in options - global - report settings, but it has no effect. Anyone know how to get this annoyance to disappear for good?
