New column from lookup table

Hi,

I'm trying to create a new column in my data table, based on a fuzzy match text in another table.

I've got two tables:

- Data (Date, Value, Description)

- Lookup (Description_ref, Category, SubCategory

So basically, I'm trying to add a new Category column and a SubCategory column into my Data table based on matching the text in the Description column.  The text in the ref table will only be a partial not a full match.

What is the best way to:

- create the relationship between the tables?

- lookup values based on the partial matched text?

Thanks in advance

@Anonymous ,

In query editor, click merge tables and merge the two tables using fuzzy match.

Dear @Anonymous

As you mentioned partial match, you can use the query directly in the same.

If you create relationships to the tables it will give you the values which are matched
