New column added in database now showing in PowerBI direct Query?

Hi All,

I am using PoweBI directQuery mode and have connected to couple of tables using Snowflake datasource. I have created another column in Snowflake view but that is not showing up in my existing PowerBI desktop report. Can anyone help what I am doing wrong here?

@Anonymous , Open the power query and refresh the data there. Also, check there is no step to remove "Other columns". If yes, then fix that step

Once you see in power query, close and apply and refresh

If you are on Power BI web interface, you will need to

  1. Download the dataset as *.pbix file
  2. Open it in Power BI Desktop
  3. Refresh from Data source (ours was Snowflake)

This will bring in the new columns.

@amitchandak   When I open the query editor, it shows ther but not in the model page. You see CREATED_DAY is there in the query editor mode but when I close it and go to Model page to create relationship , it is not showing there. I already checked all the fields till the end (showing you the screenshot which start with CRE....).
