New bespoke visualisations not retained in Power BI Desktop
Bando I don't know specifically what actions you performed, but here is my experience.
1) When you download the PBIVIZ files, they are downloaded to your computer - they should still be there.
2) The customized visuals are only added to the specific report, not to the Desktop tool, so you need to add the custom visual to each report you want to use it in.
3) My assumption is that you are opening a new Desktop to create a new report, if it's the same file, you should be prompted to "Enable custom visuals"
