✨ Sparkline in Power BI was introduced recently and it provides great insight into the data to show the trend in Table/Matrix visual but it also comes with a challenge. For example, if you filter data for a year, Sparkline also gets filtered and it loses its value.
In this video, we will go thru such a scenario to look into what tweaks we need to make in our Power BI model and develop a solution that gives us the best of both worlds. We get to slice the data the way we want and also have a sparkline that shows the trend.
