    Hi JeffTrevorJones 
    I tested 2 scenarios on my machine:
    1. Just added the new slicer on one page, selected some value, and to another page and back and saw that a selection was still there:

    2 . I copied and pasted the slicer to the other page and synced the slicers and this worked too:

    I attached the pbix, which you can follow.
    If the problem of yours in another scenario, please give more details including the link to the pbix.
    You can use my file for the test and show.

Thank you for the quick response Rita.  It turned out to be a bookmark was turning off the "Force Selection" property in the slicer settings.  After updating the bookmark with force selection turned on I don't have the same problem.  Thanks again for your prompt help!
