New Quick Measure Suggestions

I was excited to try out the new Quick Measure Suggestions feature, which came out in preview in the October 2022 update.  I turned it on and restarted Power BI Desktop but, on going into Quick Measures, the Suggestions tab is greyed out, with the message "Either your admin disabled Q&A (which is required for this feature to work), or you're using a LiveConnected model (which isn't supported)".

My model is composed of imported CSVs and I have been to the admin portal and checked that Q&A is enabled across my entire organisation.  On the visuals list, the Q&A visual is present and it works fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks KerKol, this was the correct solution!  Not the Q&A section of Tenant Settings.  Additionally, our tenant is in Europe and this setting was disabled.  Once I enabled it, and re-loaded the desktop the 'Suggestions' option was no longeer grayed out.

It should be available outside of the US, BUT, the data currently goes to America. So I have it enabled on my personal tenant, but not my work one for that reason.

So, do I understand correctly, this future won't yet available outside the US, right?

  • Hi, How can we get to the admin screen, from Power BI service or desktop? Thanks
