I'm on the latest desktop version of PBI, but I'm not seeing the new KPI Card visual in my options. Not sure if I need to do something to see it or...?

Hi,
If you’re on the latest version of Power BI Desktop and you can’t see the new KPI/Card visual, don’t worry — this is a common issue after recent updates. Microsoft has introduced a newer, modern Card visual, and in some cases the classic one gets hidden or doesn’t show up automatically. Because of this, the Card visual may look like it has disappeared even though it’s still available inside Power BI.
To fix it, the easiest solution is to right-click anywhere in the Visualizations pane and choose “Restore default visuals.” This usually brings the Card visual back right away. If you’re on an older build, you may also need to enable the “New card visual” option under File → Options → Preview features, then restart Power BI Desktop. A simple restart can also help refresh the visual list. Let me know your exact version and I can guide you better.
