New Measure Column

First, let me prefice by saying that I am extremely new at Power BI.

I have 2 date columns where I want to get the number of days between them. I am attempting to create a New Measure -> Column using the following formula:

Column = DATEDIFF(WorkOrders[AnalyzedDateActual],WorkOrders[StartDate],DAY)

But, I am getting the following error, "A Single value for column 'AnalyzedDateActual' in table 'WorkOrders' cannot be dtermined..." What am I doing wrong.

First of all are you trying to create a new measure or a new column? If it's a column, are you sure you're creating it on the correct table? If you are in the report editor view rather than the table view, and you don't have the WorkOrders table selected over on the right side, it could be trying to create this column in a different table that doesn't have single row context for that table and column.

Thank you! That was exactly the issue - I did not have the correct table selected.
