The images below are using the old format pane. I am able to customize the series to adjust the data colors for each period, exactly how I want.
Below is with the new format pane. I attempt to turn on the toggle for "Customize series," but it does not allow me. So, I cannot select a certain period (Q3 22 for example) and change the color from blue to grey.
Something is weird though - when I turn off the markers altogether, all of the markers go away, except for the markers in the year where there are customized colors (current year). See below.
Does the new format pane not have this functionality?
