New Filter Experience

Dear all,

I have enabled the preview features for filter experience, but when i open a report I've been working on before enabling this features, the new filter experience is not there. I tried opening a new PBI file and it works. Is it possible to make it available for old files we have already been working on? or does it only work for new files developed from start?

for existing reports you need to open the report in PowerBI desktop, enable the feature and then republish

The filter experience has been enabled in the desktop app. But the option is not there for this old file. I have already closed and opened the app again, but it only works if i start a report from scratch.

Here you can see how it looks on the old file, and how it looks if i try opening a new file. As you can see, the new filter experience is not there for the report I have made before enabling the option.

you need to go to t he report settings of the current file and enable it there as well
