Hi,
just my pure curiosity. Has anyone more transparency about how the new composite models over SSAS data will look and behave?
I was watching the webinar with excitment but have so many questions.
What if I enrich a SSAS model with local information, e.g. a new attribute to a customer that is not in the official SSAS source. How does that affect performance. In the cloud I can see that it doesn't affect performance, but what about the using Power BI desktop?
Am I actually creating another data model? Some features are not enabled in Power BI desktop when working with Live connection, for example I cannot maintain the Q&A part. Will that change? Will the composite model become a new dataset?
If there is someone out there that maybe has gotten his hands on the new feature, I'd be happy to hear a little bit more.
Hope someone has something to tell 🙂
Best,
P
@PhMeDie Unfortunately I do not have any additional details on this but I agree with you, lots of excitement around this particular feature, it's potentially a huge game changer!!
