New Columns Not Appearing in Query Editor, recreating formula in Query Editor is giving an error
Can you see if the following works
= Table.AddColumn(#"Added Custom", "Merged", each Text.Combine({[project)id], ", ", [cost_code_id] ", ", [line_item_type_id]}), type text)
or the following
= Table.AddColumn(#"Renamed Columns1", "Merged", each Text.Combine({Text.From([project_id], "en-GB"), ", ", Text.From([cost_code_id], "en-GB"), ", ", Text.From([#"line_item_type-id"], "en-GB")}), type text)
The first formula is not being accepted by BI. Not sure why but I can't click OK after entering it. On the second one, should I be using something else instead of Renamed Columns? BI is saying the name is not recognized.

Click the fx button next to the formula bar
then just copy in
= Table.AddColumn(#"Renamed Columns2", "Merged", each Text.Combine({Text.From([project_id], "en-GB"), ", ", Text.From([cost_code_id], "en-GB"), ", ", Text.From([#"line_item_type_id"], "en-GB")}), type text)
hit enter
I really appreciate your help here. I dont know if im working off a different version or if its because im a novice but I can not find an fx button anywhere in query editor.

Click View, then check Formula Bar
