New Column calculation incorrect

Hi,

I have a DirectQuery table in my report called DMTA_OnTimeShipping with two columns: number_of_order_lines_to_ship, and number_or_order_lines_shipped.  On the table, I selected to Create Column and entered
Daily Carry-Over = ( DMTA_OnTimeShipmentSummary[number_of_order_lines_to_ship] - DMTA_OnTimeShipmentSummary[number_of_order_lines_shipped] ).
To check it out the result I put all three in a matrix and the carry-over is giving wrong results. Ex: to_ship = 2, shipped = 0, carry-over = 6. Why would that be?

@mbailey you added a new column, not measure correct? And the values you used in the matrix, is this sum or avg, what is aggregation on the columns?

Hi,

That was it. The carry-over column was set to SUM. Changed it to Don't Summarize and it's correct now.
