Hi,
After the latest update(October), I can’t see the New Card visual on the ribbon. I tried enabling and disabling this option in Preview Features, but the visualization still doesn’t appear.
I also restarted both Power BI and Windows, but nothing changed.
Interestingly, in some other reports I can see Card (New) as a chart from the marketplace.
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?

@Simonn97_PBI interesting, can you click on 3 dots under visual, and click "restore" and/or see if there is a Power BI desktop update available. What version are you at?

I've restored the visuals a couple times, and enable and disabled on object interaction (in the options feaure preview sectiobn), and nothing solves the problems.
For classic card and new card: formating is not working, cards disapear and image settings also went crazy.
My last update is from Nov 19 (Version: 2.149.911.0 64-bit (noviembre de 2025))
Update: for the ne crd visual, ther hs been an enhcement to handle "card images" in 2 different places: call outs (original behavior) and at "card" level, but in both cases it can be handle per value of for all.
at "card" level image can ocuppy a defined side (say left/right) and call out and category label another which offers great control, but IF your cards had images already and you don't fix it at callout section, you end up with2 images. CHoose one.
Great Thank you. I reformatted wherever required and works fine.Thank you

Thank you for the screenshot. My card icons went missing after the December update (or possibly November and I didn't notice). Restoring default visuals brought them back.
Thank you!
I did that .Its works well in Desktop now. After publish, In PBI cloud, issue shows
I restored to Sep225 version. In the desktop showing proeprly but not in service. Its showing same issue. I did as per the above suggestion too. Restore. But not happened as expected. Any other IDea to solve ?
This worked for me; I am also on the October update. I restored the default visuals using the three dots in the Visuals section of the Build pane, and it returned. Interestingly, I did have On-Object Interaction turned on but didn't need to turn it off; the Restore Visuals was enough. Thank you @parry2k!

This only works for me while in the current session. Each time I reopen PBI Desktop the visuals are gone again. I've also turned off On-Object Interaction (I hate that feature anyway) but no change.
Thank you. This worked
I had same issue and your suggestion of three dots and restoring default visuals worked perfectly
Same here, I recovered the cars with 3 dots, but formating options are gone.
I had the same issue, and your suggestion worked perfectly!
Thank you so much for sharing this — it really helped!
It helped after restoring default visuals 🙂 thank you
@Simonn97_PBI I have seen this earlier. Can you disable the on-object feature and then restart the Power BI desktop?
