New Build Data columns added to visuals hiding options
Since March 2026 update pushing the build > columns from the side bar to now being on visuals trying to rename a column is an impossible task without having to drag a visual and resize, just to get the annoying hover to move allowing the right click + rename ability. Like in example below I cannot physically select on the column.
Any ideas how to get around this, as it takes hours to get visuals aligned, nevermind having to move them just to get a change to how a column is named on a table visual.
Must say this "forced" change is annoying, as just simple drag and drop columns is harder and so much more effort than just drag slightly to the side. Would be nice to have option to have one or the other, or more customisation.
That's just a suggestion. Do remember that on object interaction still is a preview feature.

Have you tried disabling on-object interaction?

But wouldn't that then just remove the whole point of having on-object interactions for all the benefits, then losing those due to bad design/implementation just to rename a column name?
I guess it is just awaiting for this sort of thing to go through testing, or becomes a frustration for many other users and then gets a fix.
