Nested/Grouped Horizontal Bar Chart
I am trying to represent an overall ranking summary with ranked sub-categories. Is there anything like this available as a Powerr BI Visual? Thanks in advance.
OK, that makes sense. However, my experience with overlayed charts has never been successful.
Inevitably, data variance over time leads to inconsistent scaling between the overlayed charts and they become visually out of sync.
Accepted solution: My solution will be the development of a custom visual to natively generate the desired graphical output.
You can put more than one column on your axis to drill down.
If this is what you mean by nested visualization.
It has nothing to do with data drill-down.
Nesting is related to the overlapping of subcategory bars within a larger overall bar.
