Hi.
I'm using data from an Excel file that is about hours of work that is like:
In the first column from the source file I have this negative hours that I need to use, but when I use it on Power BI it changes the negative hours within the left column to a date and hour totally different from the original values
Does anyone have any ideia about how to fix it? Because I need to use it as it was, with the negative values to create the metrics
Hello @daniel_leite ,
so I tried to go through the Process you did,
first I added a sample of negative fields in an excel sheet and marked the column as time
Then in Power Query I adjusted the column type as Text
Then loaded the data

Thank you so much for your kind help.
I found that the negative values have a strange format. The -05:58:00 hour has the value =-"05:58:00" inside the cell. So when I try simply to exclude or substitute values like =-" or :00" it gives me an error because Excel understand it as a formula. So now I trying to figure out how to exclude it in fact.
Your reply gave me an idea about how to fix it. Thanks for your help!
Hello @daniel_leite ,
