Need urgent help please- Incorrect values(2 values) by a legend on Line & Stacked column Chart
Hello experts,
I am in desperate need of some help. Attached is my PBI report.
https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ag919_pO_UKrdZt7uM4Bkx2JrAY?e=yExUxd
Please note:
'Fortnight Payment' is a common measure for both the locations calculated based on employees selected.
'A Billings' & 'B Billings' are two measures calculated from different tables.
two measures- [ A difference] & [B difference] populate the difference of Billings - Fortnight Paymment for locations A & B respectively.
The first tab has matrix presentation & second tab has graphical.
On graphical tab, I want to compare 'A Diffference' & 'B Difference' over time periods. By default location should be a legend.
The report applies some slicers on top, out of which Location & Employee are quite important. I am not getting the correct line values on the graph, also as I have location & time on the shared axis, it doesnt' make much sense. Please suggest if there is a better way of presenting this data on a chart or a better chart option.
Many Thanks,
Meena
Check the table on page 1 (Billings Vs Income) and chart on page 2(Billins Vs income Graph).
Also, A diff is available for both locations A and B. I unhide the same on the table. Now in case you need (Say) A diff for location A and B diff for location B, then need to create a new measure combine these two on condition.

I had a look at the file. I think it is giving correct values. I just simplified the graph and used the line graph.
There are few values out there.
1) A Revenue, A Income, A Diff, B Revenue, B Income, B Diff
2) Clinic Location. Which not coming as the legend on the graph. That is again A and B. Also there is the location
When you are trying to put too many things on graph visuals, some items are not working either legend or measure. Based on what max chart can hold you have to limit what you want to show. Or use multiple graphs.
Also matched dates on both pages to see the same number.
I think you need to revisit, how you want to display.

amitchandak , thanks for taking time & having a look at my PBI file. I am afraid, the graph that you plotted on the first tab(Billing Vs income) is not showing the correct values. I expect the A_Difference & B_Difference values to be populated on the graph same as in the matrix. For example consider the values on 10/9/2019 in below snapshot: They don't macth on the graph

Also, all the date ranges on date slicers needs to be the same.
