Need to revert from PBIR to publish with Pro licence

Hello,

I enabled the preview feature to save files in PBIR format, but I didn't realize the limitations for publishing. If I understand correctly, since I have a Pro license and not a Premium one, I cannot link the workspace to Git and therefore cannot publish the work I did today in any way. Is there a way to convert the file back to the old PBIP or PBIX format so I can publish it?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Is this still not natively possible? PBIT hack seems to do the job for now..

@LetBlodline  To revert from saving a file with the PBIR option on, save your PBIR as a PBIT template, turn off the Save as PBIR option, close PBI Desktop and open the PBIT, save the file.

Thanks, you are a lifesaver!

disable the preview feature and save the file again.

I tried this first, but it didn't work.

Activating or deactivating this feature requires a restart, and after you deactivate it, you can't open the file you saved with this feature active. I tried to save the file in both PBIX and PBIP formats, but neither can be opened after deactivating the feature.

If you have a Pro license you can open a Pro ticket at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/newsupportticket/powerbi
Otherwise you can raise an issue at https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Issues/idb-p/Issues .
