Need to keep custom columns and measured columns

I have a report that is built in PowerBI deskop by importing data from vstfs source.

  1. I have removed the top rows as it contains the server and other connection details after importing the data.
  2. Added a custom column to calculate the Time
  3. Added a measure to get Average for time

I got the report and everything is working fine.

My question is, How do I refresh the data, basically i want to retain the custom columns and also the changes I performed while updating new data every day.

Thanks

 Imran

@imran_hnjet If you save your report and publish it then when you do refresh or data refresh your custom columns and mesaures will stay. they will be part of your dataset that gets published online.

In power bi service depending on the data source and mechanism of report (import or directquery) you can setup schedule refresh or do manual refresh.
