Need to download the Embedded Power BI report from an application on a single button click

Hi All,

 

I have a Power BI report embedded inside the application. On a single button click, I need to download the report backend from Power BI service(Using Export option) without launching the service.

 

Is this possible.

I think this is possible.
Creating a button via script is possible if the URL of the download report request can be captured. But I'm not familiar with the capture address, if you know the address to get the download request, you can give it a try.

 

Here is an alternative solution that requires you to upload the report file to the cloud and save the download link in the report as a URL. Then create a button link to the download address.
The user can then click the button to start the download.
