I would like to create matrix table quarterly for previous year and selected year with dynamic column change based on selection.

Hi @Anonymous
Welcome to the Microsoft Fabric Forum,
Regarding the creation of a Quarter wise sales matrix with previous and selected year basis.
While I may not have full visibility into the specific structure of your dataset, I have created a sample .pbix file to demonstrate one possible approach to implementing the desired logic.
I’ve included relevant screenshot and attached the .pbix file for your reference. Please take a moment to review them and see if this solution aligns with your requirements.
If this doesn’t fully meet your needs, could you kindly share a sample of your data and more detailed context? That would help us provide a more accurate solution.
If this response resolves your query, kindly mark it as Accepted Solution to help other community members. A Kudos is also appreciated if you found the response helpful.
Thank You!

Hi @Anonymous
While this is possible, this isn't possible out of the box and can require a significant amount of development time. The approach involves using a disconnected table that contains all possible column combinations and their hierarchy as well as how they will be sorted and also a measure or measures referencing these columns. Attached are sample pbix files which might be relatively simpler than what you're trying to achieve. These aside, there are premium custom visuals that can possibly do this albeit at a very high premium.
