Need to convert text to date

Hi,

 

I have a text field with the following

 

August 3, 2018 10:58 AM

 

I need to convert it to a date function. so it reads 03/08/2018

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    Didi you try in M with the date function ? Or in Dax the Format function 

     

    Something like this ( where Date is my text column ):

     

    = Table.TransformColumnTypes(Source,{{"Date", type date}})

    Please if it does not work let us know I will try another approach.
