Need line chart to ignore 0's

Hi, I have a data set that often has missing data for some days and I would like to display it on a line graph without it including the 0's. I am doubtful that this is possible but thought I'd ask just in case it is! This is what my chart looks like at the moment and I've drawn some lines (in pink) to show what I would like it to do instead of dropping down to 0 each time.

Thank you in advance for any replies 😊

Hi @samc_26

Currently your X-axis is in Categorical type. So an alternative is to switch it to Continuous. This will make the lines display continuous. However this will make the X-axis responsive thus it won't display every date value on the x-axis.

Another idea is to replace those blank values in your data table with some acceptable non-blank values. However this should be assessed carefully because this may have an effect on any subsequent calculation results.

Best Regards,
Jing

Don't forget to give thumbs up and accept this as a solution if it helped you!!!

Hi @Uzi2019 Thank you for your suggestion, it does work to an extent but I wanted the lines to still continue if possible, I'm not sure BI has this as an option even with code...

If the line continues then you are not displaying the right information to the end users.
