Need help with table or matrix visual
Hello,
I have a table like this
| Year | men clothing | women clothing | children chothing | men shoes | women shoes | children shoes |
| 2010 | 10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 | 60 |
| 2011 | 15 | 25 | 35 | 45 | 55 | 65 |
I want to create a visual like this
| Item | 2010 sale | 2011 sale |
| clothing | 60 | 75 |
| shoes | 150 | 165 |

In the query editor
- Select your year column, right click and choose unpivot other columns
- Split the Attribute column at the space and name those columns what you want
- Use the column with Clothing, Shoes, etc. in a matrix visual with the Year column on columns and Sum aggregration of the Value column
