I need one help in one of logic please..
data pulls from excel file. in one of the column i.e. Type contains multiple types. On the matrix grid, in the rows fields, I've taken Types, branch names and one more field. aginst this in values I'm showing some dax calculated value (in sum).
I've taken month in slicer. also there are few more sliecers available and one of them is employee name.
now for example, one employee is Rajiv. For the month of Jan he worked under A&B Type and rest all other month he is now with C&D Type.
now what happens is, when I'm selecting Jan in slicer, his output values in matrix visualisation showing correct for the month of Jan.
When I'm selecting only Feb, it showing correct again. Mean, when I'm selecting individual month in slicer calculation showing on matrix visualtion is totally correct as per the data available for him.
Now, when I'm selecting Jan and Feb both, instead showing me different sum of his 2 Type, its adding Jan in Feb and Feb + Jan output. Selecting every month adding all the values.
What I mean is, even if I select all the month in slicer, Rajiv worked A&B type for the month of Jan and it should only show that caclaution in matrix grid. From Feb till now sept it should have only that sum (Jan should not add here).. similarly vice versa selecting all the month Jan month should only Jan calcution and not addition of all..
Can anyone please guide me here.. its little bit confusing how I design dax..
