Hi Members, I need help to enable power bi query caching feature for embedded report connected with direct query mode. I tried searching on internet/ youtube on this but found that query caching was enabled for reports deployed in Power BI service, In my project we have Power BI embedded version and no resource found how to enable query caching in embedded version. Kindly guide anyone who has insights about this.Thank you

Hi sagittarius_111 , Thank you for bringing this up. I understand the situation can be confusing. Currently, query caching is supported only for Import mode semantic models in Power BI Premium or Power BI Embedded. It is not available for DirectQuery or LiveConnect datasets, which is why the option is not visible in your case. For embedded reports, there is no separate caching setting they follow the dataset configuration. If you are experiencing performance issues, you may consider alternatives such as switching your model or part of it to Import mode, utilizing composite models, or implementing aggregation tables to reduce the load on the data source.
