Need help: Scatter plot with Dates in X-axis
Hi all,
I want to create a scatter plot with date in the x-axis. My columns are below.
Order Date >> X-axis
Product >> Details
Product Category >> Legend
Profit % >> Y-axis
The scatter plot shows me an error "Remove Details to display x-and y-axis pairs. Altenatively, you can keep Details and set summariation for x-andy-axis".
I want to keep the Product as Details, as I want to show the markers for each Product. I do not know how to summarize the Date column.
Please can anyone help.

This should be easy with the native scatter chart ... but it isn't. You need to use a custom visual. I made a quick one using Charticulator (see attached), but you can make a better one if needed.
