I agree this is a basic to medium level dashboard. Good effort, but can definitely improved if you can search over.

For enhancing, I will say, Initiator - consumer - presented concept holds good for dashboard. Data presentation is an art. First step is to visual based refinements. Other is requirements based refinements.

Add context info of the dashboard like 2 to 3 lines so that folks can understand and you can add measure info part of it than static text.

Add clear all filters functionality

Add other pages with actual data. This way, those who are interested can go and look. (Drill through reports)

------------------------------

Please google for good presenations ... Some of the presentation that may fit your dashboard:

Filters on this page are right aligned, I like left aligned, personal choice: but gives an idea:

Dont overcrowd the dashboard.

Hi @maverickf17 i will give this work 4.5 / 10
However, Good effort, but there’s room for improvement in design consistency, alignment, and presentation. Below are some key points to work on:

Detailed Feedback

  1. Add the company logo with a relevant title at the top (either side). This creates a strong positive impression and improves clarity.

  2. Show the “last updated” date/time for data. It’s a small detail, but it builds trust.

  3. Ensure all visuals are aligned properly with consistent spacing.

  4. Standardize all titles  same size and color for a professional look.

  5. Improve the color palette. Research the client’s website, products, or top brands for inspiration.

  6. Add spacing around “AED 4.75M” for better readability.

Hi @sevenhills ,
Thanks for the Review.
1) Overall out of 10  How much would you rate?
--------------------------------------------------
2) Now there is a task of enchancing these basic visuals.
As Business does not want to see boring basic visuals.

What visuals would you suggest to replace with Maybe something custom?

Thanks,
Maverick

My quick review:

Layout

  • A 4 to 6 column grid layout approach is ideal for clarity and modularity. You did it! good!
  • Column 1: I use for navigation to other pages. you dont have it! do you have the requirement to navigate to other pages?
  • Column 2:

If only 1–2 filters, keep them in the top header as you’ve done.

If more (like your 6 filters), move them to the left sidebar for better usability and visual balance.

  • Columns 3 - 6:
    • KPI's top row: Top row for KPI's is good one. You followed pattern: Numbers, Averages and %/ratios.
    • Spacing Tip: Ensure consistent padding around values like “AED 4.75M”.
    • Color Contrast: Differentiate title and value using distinct colors (but similar colors or contract colors of your choice) and font size/weights for quick scanning. Right side two charts colors are good as titles and actual data with thick colors. or vice-versa but not both / intermixed.
  • Charts & Visuals (6 Total)

    Top Row Charts:

    • Chart 1 (Left): X-axis labels unclear—consider revising or adding tooltips.

    • Chart 3 (Right): Not clear what’s being shown—needs axis clarification or legend.

    Bottom Row Charts:

    • Chart 1 (Left): Crowded labels—consider hiding them and showing on hover.

    • Chart 2 (Middle): Trend line lacks clarity. Showing both % and # may confuse—move one to tooltip or use custom tooltips.

    • Chart 3 (Right): Similar issue as Chart 1—unclear what 100%, 70%, etc. represent. Add context or tooltip.

Avoid repeat of information ...

Use tooltips and hover interactions to reduce clutter while still conveying depth. Also, ensure each chart directly supports a user decision or insight—avoid visuals that look good but don’t serve a clear purpose.

hope it helps!
