Need Help to Connect BW system in Power Bi App

Dear All,

I have created a Report in Power Bi Desktop using direct query onption with my BW live connection.

That Report I have placed in my workspace but when I open Power Bi app and try to access the report there it doesnot get refresh.

Can anyone tell me how do I connect to my BW system.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Please try below steps:

1. Install Implementation 2.0 SAP Connector in your computer

2.Create a new connection to use Implementation 2.0 of the SAP BW Connector. To create a new connection, take the following steps.

1. Select Get data. Select either SAP Business Warehouse Application Server or SAP Business Warehouse Message Server, and then connect.

2. In the new connection dialog, select the implementation. Selecting 2.0 for Implementation, as shown in the following image, enables Execution mode, Batch size and Enable characteristic structures.

3. Select OK

3. Maybe you need to install the Power BI Gateway, it depends on whether the Power BI Service could access the data source .
