Hello,
We have been using an SAP BW source to populate data into one of our reports and recently ran into a data load error after a change in requirement that resulted in us removing a parameter/filter. The error is -
"OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] SAP Business Warehouse: No more storage space available for extending an internal table.."
We are using Import Data and the data load halts at 250,000 rows and throws the above error. The number of columns is below 25 and even though we reduce this further, we still get the same error.
Please note that we have tried adding extra filters on SAP BW side for testing purpose and were able to load the data and refresh the reports.
We have browsed through some of the other issues that were posted to the community earlier but they do not seem to provide the required result.
Please suggest on what can be done.
Thank you
Hey @Anonymous ,
would you also please tell us what you have already tried?
So that we know what we shouldn't recommend? Did you try every recommended step that is written down in this thread?
BR,
Josef
Hi @JosefPrakljacic ,
Already tried adding filters to reduce the resultant data, but the does not solve our requirement. Reduced the number of columns to see if it helps - still get the same error.
We are looking for ways to avoid making changes on the SAP side, hence we haven't tried that.
Thank you
Rohit
Hey Rohit,
unfotunatley I don't see any other way then minimizing the workload and asking your SAP Admin Support Guy.
But maybe some other community members know a better answer 🙂
BR,
Josef
Hey Josef,
Thank you for responding 🙂 Will wait to hear from other community members.
Thank you,
Rohit
Hello All,
Do we have any other work around for this issue? Please guide.
Thank you,
Rohit
