Need Help -Power BI chart- Any charts showing queue/sequence

Hello All,

I have a requirement to show the employee promotion path based on his aspiring role selected.

Something like this ..If he selects his aspiring role as engineering manager..

It should show the path from his current role to aspring role.

Senior software Engineer -> Engineering Lead - > Egnineering Manager

If his current role is Engineering lead 

It should show engineering lead -> Engineering Manager.

it should only show role names..so org chart is not appropriate.

I have tried different hiererchy charts like akvelon ,Maq etc but once I tried to show the filter view its showing error as we need to exclude root node (CEO)  and need to show till his aspiring role only.

Appreciate if you can give me any ideas.Any chart that can show only promoton sequence.. ifs there anything like queue/sequence chart that will show only sequence.
